Chanukah Gift Baskets can be given to guest to celebrate your Chanukah party. Chanukah, the Festival of Lights, is a celebration of the victory of the Maccabees and the rededication of the Jerusalem Temple. It also commemorates the miracle of the oil that burned for 8 days. Chanukah begins on the 25th day of the Hebrew month of Kislev. Thousands of years ago in the land of Judea there was a Syrian king, Antiochus. The king ordered the Jewish people to reject their beliefs and to worship the Greek gods. Many refused to obey; one who refused was Judah Maccabee. Judah and his four brothers formed an army and chose as their name the word "Maccabee", which means hammer. After years of fighting, the Maccabees were finally successful in driving the Syrians out of Israel and reclaimed the Temple in Jerusalem. On the 25th day of the month of Kislev, the temple was rededicated. The Maccabees wanted to light the eternal light, known as the N'er Tamid, which is present in every Jewish house of worship. Only a tiny jug of oil was found with only enough for a single day. The oil lamp was filled and lit. Then a miracle occurred as the tiny amount of oil stayed lit not for one day, but for eight days. Jewish people celebrate Chanukah to mark the victory over the Syrians and the rededication of the Jerusalem Temple. The Festival of the Lights, Chanukah, lasts for eight days to commemorate the miracle of the oil. The word Chanukah means "rededication." Chanukah Party Supplies like paper plates, napkins, and cups are a perfect way to complete a Chanukah Party Theme. Party decorations using like glow jewelry, stickers. Chanukah loot bags tucked into baskets or a Chanukah piñata can be a centerpiece and double as party prizes. Party favors like jewelry, glow whistles, hats, masks, party-poppers and boas will add the special touches to a Chanukah Party Theme.

Christmas Gift Baskets are a great party gift to give to guests at a Christmas Party. The history of Christmas dates back over 4000 years. Many of our Christmas traditions were celebrated centuries before the Christ child was born . The 12 days of Christmas, the bright fires, the Yule log, the giving of gifts, carnivals (parades) with floats, carolers who sing while going from house to house, the holiday feasts, and the church processions can all be traced back to the early Mesopotamians. In the Western world, the birthday of Jesus Christ has been celebrated on December 25th since AD 354, replacing an earlier date of January 6th. Joseph and Mary left Nazareth and traveled to Bethlehem, the birth place of King David. The Roman Emperor, Augustus, wanting to know the size of the population of his empire, had ordered a census to be taken. The Governor issued orders that all Jews should register their names in their ancestral home town. Joseph set out for Bethlehem on foot, leading a donkey on which sat Mary. They traveled peacefully for 4-5 days. When they reached Bethlehem, the town and the local inn were crowded with visitors. They took shelter in a manger and that is where Jesus was born. He was present with gifts of Frankenscents and mirth from three wise men who followed the north star Christmas is the most widely celebrated festival world over, and also the most popular festival globally. when we see the Santa riding on a reindeer sledge with the stocking full of gifts and candies; or the familiar coniferous green trees being decorated with tinsels and stars, and gingerbread and fruits; or houses being decorated with holly twigs and mistletoes - we know Christmas has come. Thanksgiving Gift Baskets are a unique way to give each of your guest a pleasant take home gift from your Thanksgiving Day party. The pilgrims were apart of the Puritan movement in England during the 17th century. They were persecuted for their religious beliefs and decide to go to the Americas to create a “shining city on a hill.” When the Pilgrims crossed the Atlantic Ocean in 1620, they landed on the rocky shores of a territory that was inhabited by the Wampanoag Indians. The Wampanoag were part of the Algonquian-speaking peoples. One year later The Pilgrims were not in good condition. They were living in dirt-covered shelters, there was a shortage of food, and nearly half of them had died during the winter. The Wampanoag gave the Pilgrims the help they need. By spring the settlement was doing much better. They gave a feast in thanks of their survival and for the Wampanoag who taught them how to live in the harsh conditions. The Pilgrims learned how to cultivate corn and other new vegetables and how to build Indian-style houses. For three days the Wampanoag feasted with the Pilgrims. It was a special time of friendship between two very different groups of people. A peace and friendship agreement was made between Massasoit the Wampanoag chief and Miles Standish the puritan governor. Thanksgiving Party Supplies like paper plates, napkins, and cups are a nice way to complete a Thanksgiving Party Theme. Using party decorations like Thanksgiving pilgrim hats as a centerpiece can also double as party prizes. Party favors like Thanksgiving stickers or glow jewelry fit a Thanksgiving Party Theme.

Red Hat Parties are popping up everywhere, you may see one while you are eating dinner but don’t be alarmed!! A Red Hat party is a party for women over fifty looking to have lots of fun and friendships while wearing purple outfits and of course red hats. Sue Ellen Cooper of Fullerton, California started it all with inspiration from a popular poem entitled "Warning" by Jenny Joseph. The poem starts out “When I am an old woman I shall wear purple with a red hat which doesn't go and doesn't suit me”. Sue Ellen Cooper took this idea and with her friends formed a group that met on a regular basis for tea in their Red Hats and purple dresses. The Red Hat Society was formed in 1997 for women deciding to greet middle age with verve, humor and élan. The Red Hat Society has grown from a small group to more than 21,000 chapters with an estimated 500,000 members in over 20 countries, and continues to grow at a rate of 500 new chapters a week. To make any Red Hat party special you can decorate your party with Red Hat Themed Party Decorations like paper plates, paper cups and napkins.
