With the release of the new Harry Potter Book a Harry Potter Party will be a very popular choice. The Harry Potter books have outsold any other book or series in publishing history which later the books became Movies. Thus, the Harry Potter theme party too has become popular. Have the kids come dressed in their favorite Harry Potter character to the Harry Potter party. Back in July of 1997, Bloomsbury Books in England first published Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Bloomsbury printed 1,000 copies of the first edition in the U.K., and off those, 500 went to libraries, and were read so many times that they were literally destroyed. However 500 copies were sold in bookstores. Those U.K. first editions of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone will sell for between $20,000 and $40,000 so check yours and see if you are sitting on your own pot of gold.
